FACT CHECK: Robert Kidiaba has not resigned as goalkeeping coach for the Democratic Republic of Congo national team (the Leopards).

A viral and unfounded social media post falsely claimed that his resignation had been accepted by the Congolese Association Football Federation (FECOFA).

The former TP Mazembe goalkeeper still serves as the goalkeeping coach for the Leopards and has formally denied the rumor, as reported by our colleagues at Radio Okapi.

This is fake news that has circulated widely on social media and been shared by numerous internet users.
