While social media has been in a frenzy over recent days surrounding a controversy fueled by the dissemination of screenshots and alleged private conversations attributed to the artist and Collette Mutuza, the case is officially shifting from the realm of rumors to the penal sphere.

Fally Ipupa's legal consortium based in Melbourne, Kinshasa, and Paris has delivered a major blow by formalizing a series of lawsuits and international legal actions.

The response first materialized in Australia with the service of a letter of demand for an injunction at Ms. Mutuza's residence on September 6, 2026, followed by an initial complaint filed on September 8 with Victoria Police with a view toward criminal prosecution.

The legal offensive does not stop there, casting a wide net to penalize online abuses. An urgent application is also set to be filed before the Victoria Magistrates' Court, while parallel procedures are underway in Kinshasa and Paris to directly target individuals who orchestrated TikTok lives or amplified the media lynching.

The artist's legal team has accompanied these actions with a stern warning: anyone who persists in sharing these publications on social media will also face rigorous legal prosecution. The firm emphasizes that the artist's notoriety in no way constitutes a waiver of his strict right to privacy, dignity, and the protection afforded by the law.

By choosing to place the matter entirely in the hands of the competent authorities to resolve, Fally Ipupa and his team refuse to let what they consider a well-orchestrated blackmail and defamation campaign by Ms. Collette Mutuza and her accomplices go unchecked.
